The Receiver of Public Money also acted as the Disbursing Agent for each district land office. These printed forms document quarterly accounts of disbursements made by the Receiver. They illustrate money paid to local officials, such as the Register, Commissioner of Sales and Receiver, for salaries, commissions, postage, transportation and other incidental expenses. Disbursements were often included in other financial records of the Receiver in earlier years.
